Man! The Bluegrass Underground with Missy Raines was so awesome... despite it being the earliest I've been awake in a while! We pulled in bright and early and were greeted by the friendly crew. We loaded our instruments and gear into the back of a little cave jeep with a trailer and they cruised it on down into the cave. We followed on foot, and met a low hanging sleeping bat! After sound check I did an interview for radio. They'll be mixing down the whole show with the interview and air it on WSM before the Opry this upcoming Saturday at 5:00PM! I could go on and on about how cool it was and how good Missy and her band sounded, but instead I'll post some pictures thanks to the Bluegrass Underground facebook page.
In other news, I'll be playing at Dino's tomorrow night. The show starts at 8:30. Jhesi Boyer will open up with all her awesome songs, followed by Rorey Carroll. Then I'll be playing some bluegrass with some of my tunes thrown in. I'll be joined by the great and talented Matt Wingate and the also great and talented Nate Lee. Here's the silly little poster I threw together for that one:
Now for more cave pictures! And here you are:
Thanks for reading and don't forget to listen to us on the radio this Saturday February 8th at 5:00!
