![]() Very soon I'll be releasing a brand new single! And its a Christmas song! One of my favorite things about Christmas time has always been laying under the tree and looking up at all the lights twinkling off the ornaments. My childhood cat, Meowzer, used to lay under the tree with me when I was a kid, but I think she was there for the low hanging candy canes and not the light show. In any case, the song is not about my cat, but about magical wintery scenes of Colorado, trees and love. I recorded it last night just me and my Cedar Mountain banjo at Ship Wreck Studios. It came out sounding great and I can't wait for everyone to hear it! It should be available for download on CDbaby very soon! Thanks for reading! -Ashleigh Hey friends. The sad news is that the show this Friday at Turtle Anarchy Tap Room has been cancelled due to the venue's failure to obtain proper music license and pay all the fees that need to be paid.
We are all bummed and nobody wins in this situation, but let it be a reminder to all the venues to get their affairs in order so that live music can continue to thrive. The work that ASCAP, BMI and SESAC do is important. It is a big part of how many artists make their living and get paid for the songs that have brought joy to so many music lovers over the years. I hope that we will see you at a show in the future and that everyone has an amazing holiday season! Thanks for your continued support and love! Just finishing up some computer work here, and also this poster for the show at the Turtle Anarchy Brewing Company on December 13th in Franklin Tennessee! I've been there before and the people are nice and the beers are tasty! I'll be joined by Nate Lee and Matt Wingate and we'll be playing all of our favorite tunes for you between 7 and 9PM! Here's what the poster looks like: Hope to see you there!
