There is so much going on! I'm bubbling over with excitement!
First of all, my Spring Cleaning Demo is now available for your purchase right on my website for the low low price of $5.37! I would love for each and everyone of you to have a copy! Visit the Store to download it now!
In other news, I'm back from the trail. My mom, Ruby and I had a wonderful journey through part of the Appalachian Mountains along a section of the A.T. We got rained on, snowed on, swam in lakes, met new friends, almost got blown away by tornadoes, hitchhiked, bonded, saw beautiful views, witnessed the world change from winter to spring right before our eyes and even saw wild ponies... with babies! It was a wonderful adventure that's hard to put into words, and you all know how much I like words! I guess you'll have to settle for a few pictures instead.
Now that I'm back in reality... well as much in reality as I'll ever be, I'll be doing some shows with the great and illustrious Bradford Lee Folk and his Bluegrass Playboys. Check out the Shows page for that and other upcoming performances. Brad is one of my favorite performers and a fantastic songwriter and its truely an honor to get to share the stage with him and his wonderful band.
And as if there wasn't enough excitement already, my good buddy, Matt Wingate, just released his brand new album, Glimpses! I just got my copy and have been wearing it out in the van all day long. Its awesome! After you go and purchase your copy, open it up and you just might see my name in the liner notes for playing on a track and doing a little singing. You won't be disappointed, I promise!
Be sure to check out the Shows page, seriously. I'm pretty thrilled about this weekend! On Friday you can catch me at the Full Moon Pickin Party and I'll be lucky enough to have some amazing pickers along with me for that. David Grier on guitar, Nate Lee on the fiddle, and Sterling Abernathy playing mandolin. Then on Saturday you can see that same lineup as David Grier & Friends on the radio! Well, you won't be able to see us on the radio, but if you come out to the show you certainly can. All that info is on the Shows page... did I mention that yet?
Alright, the animals are all curled up and looking at me like I'm crazy for still being awake and updating my webpage in the middle of the night, so I guess I'll call it a night.
Thanks again for reading and supporting real live music and musicians! Couldn't do it with out you!
